It’s time for the Cat Man! The Dodgers are set to welcome back 2022 NL All-Star Tony Gonsolin this week, barring any setbacks. Ahead of LA’s 7-3 win over the Cubs on Sunday, Gonsolin was spotted at Wrigley Field leading to questions for Dave Roberts.
“He’s here for a purpose.” Roberts said. “A likely possibility for Tony to start on Wednesday makes sense. … He feels good about it, he’s on board with where he’s at as far as the build up and he’s the best option right now.”
Gonsolin would be taking the spot in the rotation that belonged to Michael Grove who hit the injured list this week with a groin strain.
