Dodgers News: Tony Gonsolin’s First Rehab Start Scheduled for Thursday, Target Date Set

A bit of good news out of Dodger Stadium on Monday as injured starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin took a big step toward his return to a big league mound… by actually pitching off of one. The right-hander threw a 32 pitch bullpen session and left himself set to head out on a minor league rehab assignment this week.

Mike DiGiovanna on the LA Times was among those to share the news on Twitter.

Gonsolin has been sidelined since the second week of the spring after rolling his ankle during fielding drills.
