Los Angeles Dodgers RHP Tony Gonsolin started the season on the injured list. The 2022 All-Star twisted his left ankle close to a month ago, and it’s been a longer recovery time than we all expected — even for the righty, who said his ankle wasn’t responding the way he thought it would over time.
Yet, we’re here almost one month after he suffered the injury, and he still hasn’t pitched in the regular season. And even though the Dodgers could use all the pitching they, need especially with Ryan Pepiot on the IL, too, Gonsolin says his injury could have been a blessing in disguise.
