Dodgers pitcher Tony Gonsolin, sidelined since August 23 with a right forearm strain, has been activated from the injured list and will make the start tonight against the Rockies. To make room on the active roster, Andre Jackson was optioned to the minor leagues.
Gonsolin was having a career year before the forearm strain, leading the National League with a 2.10 ERA and posting a sparkling 16-1 record. His ERA had gotten all the way up to 2.41 after a rough July, but in his last four starts before the injury, he allowed just two runs in 23.
