The Dodgers announced on Friday that seven players from their minor-league system will be playing for the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League next month.
The seven Dodgers named to the Desert Dogs are:
- Infielder Jorbit Vivas
- Outfielder Andy Pages
- Outfielder Jose Ramos
- RHP Hyun-Il Choi
- RHP Tanner Dodson
- LHP Ben Harris
- RHP Emmet Sheehan.
Vivas is on the Dodgers’ 40-man roster, and a few of the others are likely 40-man additions this offseason.
The AFL is a showcase circuit for baseball’s top young talent, with games beginning October 3 and concluding with the AFL Championship Game on November 12.
