The Dodgers are holding a doubleheader on Saturday due to Hurricane Hilary likely hitting Southern California with tons of rain on Sunday.
While this was obviously the smartest option to potentially avoid a rainout, it does have a big impact on the Dodgers’ rotation plans.
Bobby Miller was expected to start on Sunday for LA on five days rest. However, on Saturday, he would be on four days rest.
With the Dodgers wanting to limit his workload, starting him on four days rest is obviously the last thing they would want to do.
