To no surprise, the Los Angeles Dodgers placed Rich Hill on the 10-day disabled list and recalled Rob Segedin from Triple-A Oklahoma City. The DL stint is Hill’s second of the season and month. He missed five weeks last year due to chronic blisters.
Hill returned Sunday, only to have his start come to a halt after three innings. He warmed up to start the fourth inning but after a brief conversation with manager Dave Roberts and a trainer, was replaced by Ross Stripling.
Roberts later said Hill’s blister was not as bad as initially feared, but the team remained at a loss over what action to take.
