Dodgers RHP Ryan Pepiot is not close to making a return. The young starting pitcher, who was set to open the season as the No. 5 starter before sustaining an oblique injury right before the start of the season, still hasn’t picked up a baseball. That’s per Dave Roberts’ recent update on Monday.
Pepiot hasn’t really made much progress, according to Roberts. He’s been doing some one-arm plyometric work in Arizona, but that’s about it. He still hasn’t started a throwing program, which doesn’t exactly bode well for a return anytime soon.
