It was a transaction that may have flown under the radar given the frenzy of the trade deadline just a few days earlier, but the Los Angeles Dodgers signed second baseman Kolten Wong to a minor league contract on August 9 after the two-time Gold Glover was released by the Seattle Mariners.
After a brief stop in Arizona to play for the Dodgers’ Arizona Complex League squad, he made his way to the Triple-A Oklahoma City Dodgers earlier this week.
And since then, the 32-year-old has been absolutely raking.
