Due to recent injuries in Tony Gonsolin and Walker Buehler, the Dodgers have been on the hunt for their sixth man in the pitching rotation. LA Prospect, Ryan Pepiot made his major league debut this past May and has gotten 7 starts this season including three in August but doesn’t look likely to fill that spot permanently.
However, Pepiot is still riding high off a quality start in which he held the Miami Marlins to just two runs over six innings while collecting a career-high seven strikeouts. Overall, the 25-year-old is 2-0 with a 4.02 ERA and a WHIP of 1.
