The Dodgers will always go out and get bullpen help wherever they can find it. This time of the year, they are usually able to get that done via waiver claims or small trades. They signed former LA reliever Pedro Baez to a minor league deal in May.
That came after Baez was designated for assignment by the Astros in April. Baez played just 7 games with the Astros over the course of 2 years due to injuries. He left the Dodgers in free agency to sign a deal with Houston following the 2020 World Series season.
This week, Baez got bumped up to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
