Dodgers News: Oklahoma City’s Trevor Oaks Named Pacific Coast League Pitcher Of The Week (May 29-June 4)

Los Angeles Dodgers pitching prospect Trevor Oaks, who plays for the organization’s Triple-A Oklahoma City affiliate, was named the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for the period of May 29-June 4.

Oaks made one start this past week, and pitched seven shutout innings while giving up just two hits. He finished with seven strikeouts in an 11-1 victory over Triple-A New Orleans Baby Cakes (Miami Marlins affiliate). In the seven innings, Oaks retired 21 of the 23 batters he faced, including the last 17.

The right-hander also helped his own cause, launching a three-run home run to left field in the eighth inning.
