Triple-A Oklahoma City right-hander Jair Jurrjens was suspended 80 games for a positive test for exogenous Testosterone. He signed a Minor League contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the end of March.
Including Thursday night’s contest, Oklahoma City has 78 games remaining on their 2017 schedule, meaning Jurrjens’ suspension will carry into 2018 should he continue to pitch. Jurrjens went 4-3 with a 4.64 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 11 games (10 starts) for OKC.
Jurrjens last pitched for Oklahoma City on June 7, allowing four runs in two innings. He finished wth 44 strikeouts and 18 walks in 54 innings.
