The Los Angeles Dodgers are getting set for a three-game series with the New York Yankees this weekend. The starting rotation is set for this series, however, there were many question marks regarding the Dodgers’ rotation for the following series against the Cincinnati Reds.
The Dodgers had a day off on Thursday and have another one on Monday, so technically, they could have skipped a start in their rotation. If they decided to do that, the likely candidate to have his start skipped would have been the struggling Noah Syndergaard.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was asked about that spot in the rotation ahead of Friday’s series opener against the Yankees, though, and shut down any rumors of a potential skipped start.
