Noah Syndergaard and the case of the curious bloody finger is over… for now. The right-hander says he’ll make his next scheduled start on Monday after coming out of a side session fine. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts shared an update on where Syndergaard is at and how they’re trying to manage his injured index finger.
He’s been throwing since being forced from a start in Milwaukee last week, working with a sort of liquid bandage agent called Dermabond. His finger has also been covered over his last few throwing sessions in an effort to mitigate the irritation. After his bullpen session on Saturday, all systems are a go for Thor against the Twins.
