Game 1 of the National League Division Series is behind us and it was certainly a painful one. Clayton Kershaw was tagged for 6 runs before the seats were even warm at Dodger Stadium and was chased after recording just one out against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts along with Kershaw both confirmed that the left-hander wasn’t experiencing any physical issues stemming from his balky shoulder. A dejected Kershaw instead said he just didn’t have it.
Despite the outing, Roberts is already looking ahead to the next time Clayton would take the mound, if the best-of-five series makes it that far.
