The Los Angeles Dodgers have been reported to be among the teams poised to make big moves at the trade deadline. The team primarily has needs in the outfield and bullpen, and are expected to bring in at least a couple players to further a potential postseason run in October.
In a recent interview with Dodgers Nation, ESPN’s Buster Olney dove into president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman’s mentality heading into the upcoming trade deadline.
“Andrew will monitor the marketplace,” Olney told Dodgers Nation’s Doug McKain. “And if there’s some outfield opportunity that pops up, where adding a guy, I could see them striking.
