Dodgers News: Mookie Betts Scratched from Saturday’s Lineup vs Rockies

About 40 minutes after releasing the lineup for Saturday night’s game against the Rockies, the Dodgers sent out a revised version that had Mookie Betts’ name missing.

Before the game, manager Dave Roberts shared the update on Betts who is dealing with a few little dings and bruises. However, the reason he was scratched was because he is feeling sick, according to the team.

Notably, Betts was drilled in the middle of the back by a wayward curveball in the 6th inning on Friday night. He remained in the game.

Kiké Hernandez took Mookie’s spot at second base and veteran outfielder David Peralta moved up from 8th in the lineup to leading off.
