Dodgers News: Mookie Betts Reacts to Gavin Lux Injury

What seemed like a really good day for the Dodgers on Monday took a sour turn late in their spring game against the Padres in Peoria. Los Angeles got a solid inning from starting pitcher Ryan Pepiot (including excellent command of his changeup and striking out Manny Machado with a slider) a couple hits from Will Smith, but the top of the sixth inning change the whole feel of the game when starting shortstop Gavin Lux went down with a knee injury.

LA outfielder Mookie Betts talked with the media as he was leaving Camelback Ranch for the day, and his tone was somber as he talked about Lux’s injury.
