Dodgers News: Miguel Rojas Reveals When He Will Have Hernia Surgery

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas plans to undergo surgery for his sports hernia injury as soon as possible after the World Series ends, via Bill Plunkett of the OC Register. The Dodgers removed Rojas from the roster for the National League Championship Series against the New York Mets because of the injury, forcing him to sit out of that series.

Both Rojas and Dodgers manager Dave Roberts were hopeful that Rojas could return to play in the World Series, and the team added Rojas back to the roster prior to the series.

Rojas has never played in a World Series before.
