Dodgers News: Miguel Rojas Needs Surgery, Still Wants to Play in World Series

Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Miguel Rojas will have to undergo surgery for a sports hernia following the end of the 2024 MLB postseason. Rojas was left off the Dodgers’ roster for the National League Championship Series, but would still want to play through his injury if the Dodgers do advance to the World Series, via Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times.

Rojas played in the Dodgers’ first three games of the NL Division Series against the San Diego Padres, but has not appeared in a postseason game since. During eight at-bats through the 2024 postseason, Rojas recorded two hits.
