Dodgers cleanup hitter Max Muncy has won the National League Player of the Week Award for the week of April 22. Muncy was red hot the entire week, hitting five home runs and seven RBIs en route to winning the award. After a slow start to the season, Muncy has broken out, and is now the first Dodger to win the award this season.
Muncy’s dominant week has helped him rise the ranks of the NL hitting leaderboards. Muncy is now the MLB leader in home runs with 11, and is second in the MLB with a 1.
