Dodgers News: Max Muncy Heads to Injured List With Hamstring Strain, Michael Busch Recalled

The Dodgers have made the roster move they were hoping didn’t have to come on Friday, officially placing Max Muncy on the injured list with his low-grade hamstring strain. The move is retroactive to Tuesday, when he injured his hamstring in his final at-bat running to first base to leg out a double play. With Muncy out, top hitting prospect Michael Busch has been recalled from Triple-A.

The Dodgers selected the contract of RHP Emmet Sheehan, recalled IF Michael Busch, optioned RHP Michael Grove to Triple-A and placed IF Max Muncy on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain, retroactive to June 13.
