Dodgers News: Max Muncy Dealing With Grade 2 Hamstring Strain, Not Going on IL Yet

Related Topics: Los Angeles Dodgers, Max Muncy

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided an update on third baseman Max Muncy shortly before the team’s second game against the Chicago White Sox. Muncy left this past weekend’s series finale against the Philadelphia Phillies with what looked like a hamstring injury. He’s been out since but the team is hopeful that he can return soon.

Max Muncy has a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, Dave Roberts said. They aren’t putting him on the IL right now. His hope is that Muncy can be back by Saturday.

No injured list for Muncy just yet as the team wants to see if he can make a return without the designation.
