The club’s play to open the month of September has some fans feeling a bit restless after back to back years of postseason struggle. However, third baseman Max Muncy isn’t reading too much into the results of these three games and counting.
Following Saturday’s extra innings loss, Muncy shared his thoughts on the team’s performance in this series, as reported on MLB.com
“I mean, you can’t take too much out of it,” said Muncy, when asked about measuring up to a team that could be a playoff opponent.
