Dodgers News: Logan Forsythe Removed After Being Hit By Pitch

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been akin the walking wounded in recent weeks, with multiple players landing on the disabled list and others nursing minor malaises. On Tuesday, Logan Forsythe was removed in the bottom of the third inning.

Scott Van Slyke pinch-hit for Forsythe and remained in the game in left field. Kiké Hernandez, who started in left field, moved to second base.

Forsythe was hit by a pitch on his right foot in the first inning, and immediately reacted in pain. He walked gingerly to first base, was checked on by Dodgers manager Dave Roberts and trainer Nate Lucero, and remained in the game after a brief walk down the right-field line.
