The Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday activated Logan Forsythe from the 10-day disabled list and optioned Josh Ravin to Triple-A Oklahoma City. Forsythe had been on the DL since April 19 after sustaining a toe fracture.
Forsythe was projected to miss approximately two weeks, but saw his clock reset due to hamstring tightness that surfaced while on a rehab assignment with High-A Rancho Cucamonga. In six games with the Quakes across two rehab stints, he went 3-for-14 with three doubles and four walks.
With Justin Turner nursing a hamstring injury, Forsythe returns to fill in at third base.
