The waiver wire has been updated and many of the Angels waived players are going to playoff teams, just not the Dodgers.
The Angles shocked the baseball world on Tuesday when it was announced that the team would be waiving most of the trade deadline additions the team made at the start of August. This shocking move is a result of the team’s terrible record in the month of August which has firmly taken them out of playoff contention.
Headlining the waived players are Lucas Giolito, Hunter Renfroe, Matt Moore, Reynaldo Lopez, Dominic Leone, and Randal Grichuk.
