The Dodgers have officially made their Tyler Anderson, Andrew Heaney-esque signing of the offseason. They are reportedly in agreement on a one-year deal with free agent RHP Shelby Miller.
For those wondering, yes, it’s the same Shelby Miller. The one who was an All-Star in Atlanta in 2015. The one who pitched with the Diamondbacks for three seasons, when they acquired him in one of the worst trades in MLB history (they sent Dansby Swanson and more to Atlanta).
Well last year, Miller was with the Giants in their bullpen. The 32-year-old appeared in just four games, allowing five earned runs across seven innings.
