It’s no secret that the Los Angeles Dodgers have been planning an all-out aggressive plan to land Angels two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani this offseason. Ohtani is scheduled to be a free agent this winter, and LA has long been a favorite to sign his services.
The Dodgers have shed payroll and let players walk in previous years to preserve cap space for Ohtani. This has been in the works for some time as LA has a lot to offer the modern-day Babe Ruth.
However, President of Baseball Operations Andrew Friedman doesn’t seem to have any idea what Ohtani is going to do this winter.
