The Dodgers have not been out and about this offseason; in fact, they’ve been relatively quiet. Their biggest signings have been in the pitching department, and neither are earth-shattering moves that Dodger fans had hoped.
One signing that caused significant traction for Dodger fans was when they acquired former All-Star Jason Heyward. Heyward signed with L.A. last week to a minor league deal after struggling on the offensive side of things for the past couple of years.
However, Jack Harris of the L.A. Times reported that the Dodgers believe Heyward has the tools to contribute to the team in the majors.
