After ending the week in disappointing fashion against Cleveland, the Dodgers started this week looking like the dominant offensive team fans were hoping to consistently see this season. LA swept the Reds at Great American Ballpark, outscoring them 26-11 in the three-game series.
In the final game of the series, the Dodgers piled up ten runs on the Reds, blasting five home runs in the 10-5 daytime drubbing.
The Dodgers also accomplished something that according to SportsNet LA’s Joe Davis, the team hasn’t done since 1976: score runs in eight-consecutive innings.
Even we can follow Davis’ research team’s math.
