The show, which features celebrities hidden in wild costumes and singing covers of hit songs, has become a staple of weekly television, especially in these strange times. Each week a singer is eliminated and then revealed to the audience, generally to the dismay of the judges and the viewers at home who’ve spent some time debating who could be under the mask. You can usually tell by scrolling through trending topics on Twitter every Wednesday evening and seeing countless celebrity names, generally mixed between the debate over whether they are under the costume or the countless people sending out the infamous Denzel tweet thankful that the celebrity is not dead or sick.
