Dodgers News: Justin Turner Maintains Lead Over Cubs’ Kris Bryant, Others In Final Vote Update

The Los Angeles Dodgers may soon have a fifth player named to the National League roster for the 2017 MLB All-Star Game, as Justin Turner maintained his lead over Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant and others in the Final Vote update that was released Wednesday morning.

Turner has received 12.9 million votes, after outpacing his fellow Final Vote candidates with 6.7 million votes as of Tuesday morning. Turner’s All-Star campaign has been spearheaded on social media by his fiancé, Kourtney, and the Dodgers have established a voting headquarters at Dodger Stadium.

Turner raised his batting average yet again, with a 2-for-4 night against the Arizona Diamondbacks in the opener of a key three-game series.
