Following Wednesday night’s loss in Peoria, the Dodgers announced 5 more players had been cut from the active roster. The biggest name from the list was lefty reliever Justin Bruihl who has made 45 appearances for Los Angeles over the past two seasons.
Our Noah Camras tweeted the full list.
The 25-year-old Bruihl had a rough spring allowing 4 earned runs over 5 outings. He was considered a longshot to make the roster on opening day but will now open the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City.
Outside of Bruihl, infielder Yonny Hernandez was the only other player currently on the 40-man roster.
