As expected, Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association have agreed to place pitcher Julio Urias on paid administrative leave while launching an investigation into a domestic violence incident. Urias was arrested on Sunday night at Exposition Park in Los Angeles following a reported physical altercation with a person presumed to be his spouse.

Los Angeles Dodgers starter Julio Urías is being placed on administrative leave by Major League Baseball in the wake of his arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence, a source tells ESPN.

The left-hander has a court date set for September 27th in Los Angeles.
