Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias was arrested for domestic violence in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Details are sparse at the moment, but ESPN’s Jeff Passan was the first to publically report on the incident.

Urias, 27, has previously been arrested on DV charges. Back in 2019, he was suspended for 20 games following an altercation with his girlfriend at an LA shopping mall. According to CBS Sports, police declined to charge Urias because there was no physical injury, and because his girlfriend “at no point indicated to either the uniformed police officers or to civilian witnesses that she believed she was a victim.
