Tough break for the Dodgers once again as outfielder Joey Gallo exits the game with what was diagnosed as a right elbow contusion. Gallo left in the second inning after being hit by a 96 MPH pitch from Alex Cobb.
It seems the Dodgers once again aren’t able to stay away from injuries, and it comes at a very unfortunate time for Gallo. Since being traded from the Yankees, Gallo has batted a .203 batting average with four home runs and 13 RBI’s in 24 games.
It remains to be seen of the extent of Gallo’s injury or whether or not he will require additional testing or X-ray.
