Dodgers News: Joc Pederson, Josh Ravin Begin Rehab Assignments With Quakes

While the Los Angeles Dodgers put Hyun-Jin Ryu on the disabled list, the club’s 13th player this season to face that reality, there was positive injury news some 70-plus miles south of Dodger Stadium on Monday.

Joc Pederson (right groin strain) and Josh Ravin (right groin strain) joined High-A Rancho Cucamonga for the start of their respective rehab assignments. For Pederson, it came days ahead of when Dodgers manager Dave Roberts projected the young center fielder would join the Quakes.

Roberts explained that was due to rapid progress Pederson made in recent days.
