Dodgers News: Hernández Duo Makes MLB History in Game 5 NLDS Win Over Padres

The home runs from Kiké Hernández and Teoscar Hernández in Game 5 of the National League Division Series was the first time in MLB history that two players with the same last name each hit a solo homer for the same team, which also accounted for all the runs in the game.

Kiké was the first to breakthrough on a pitch from Padres right-hander Yu Darvish in the second inning. The 428-foot bomb put Los Angeles on the board.

The game carried on with no stars on either team able to get something going. That all changed in the seventh inning.
