Former Dodgers infielder (and reliever) Hanser Alberto has been designated for assignment by the Chicago White Sox. The team announced it among a series of roster moves on Friday morning.

Alberto, who spent the 2022 season with LA, signed a minor league deal with the White Sox and earned himself a spot on the Opening Day roster. He appeared in 30 games with Chicago this year, slashing .220/.261/.390 with three home runs and 16 RBIs.
