Freddie Freeman just finished the month of May on another planet.
In 28 games, Freeman slashed .400/.462/.722 with six home runs, 17 doubles, one triple, 26 RBIs and four stolen bases. His OPS was 1.184, and raised his season-long OPS to 1.008.
Freeman had 16 multi-hit games, including two three-hit games and a four-hit game, and is taking a 20-game hitting streak into June. He truly had one of the most dominant hitting months in recent memory, and did it while playing in every single game.
Freeman deserves all the praise that comes his way as one of baseball’s best players, and after his dominant month of May, one of his former teammates made sure to give him some love.
