Dodgers News: Grant Dayton Placed On Disabled List, Kyle Farmer Recalled From Oklahoma City

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed Grant Dayton on the 10-day disabled list with neck stiffness and recalled Kyle Farmer from Triple-A Oklahoma City. Farmer will make his MLB debut if or when he appears in a game for the Dodgers.

He was previously added to the 40-man roster last November to protect against potentially getting selected in the 2016 Rule 5 Draft. Farmer began this season with Double-A Tulsa, and joined Oklahoma City in late May.

He hit a combined .326/.384/.488 with 20 doubles, nine home runs and 47 RBI. A natural catcher, Farmer also made starts at first base, second base, third base and shortstop for OKC this season.
