Dodgers shortstop Gavin Lux’s season ended before it even started in 2023. The young shortstop who was ready to take the shortstop mantle suffered a torn ACL in late February that ended his season.
After the season-ending injury, the 25-year-old couldn’t help but shed tears in front of reporters and teammates. The Dodgers and their fans were devastated by the news, but Lux knew it was time to move forward with the recovery process.
The best wishes came through for Lux from Dodgers Nation and beyond, but none felt as great as from MLB Hall of Famer Chipper Jones.
