The Dodgers started out the past week by busting out the brooms in Cincinnati. LA’s bats caught fire as the team steamrolled the Reds in the three-game series. Next came a weekend series against the the Atlanta Braves that doubled as Freddie Freeman’s Atlanta homecoming.
Freddie was warmly received by the fans at Truist Park.
But amid the fanfare, Clayton Kershaw made an eye-opening comment about Freddie’s emotional return.
The surreal baseball experience didn’t stop there as former Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen logged another save against LA.
It was also an emotional weekend for veteran reliever Daniel Hudson, who suffered a serious injury in the first game of the series.
