Heading into the final six games of the MLB regular season, there is some history to be made as Freddie Freeman is nearing some records.
Despite only being two doubles away from being the seventh player in MLB history with 60 doubles in a single season, Freeman is keeping his focus on the team. After coming up short last season, Freeman is wanting to add another World Series to his resume rather than setting records.
“Trying not to think about it,” Freeman said of the statistical milestones he could reach. “I know we’ve clinched and all you’ve got to talk about now is individual numbers.
