The Dodgers’ newest trade acquisition had quite the showing in his first start for the Boys in Blue to kick off August.
In front of his new team’s home crowd for the very first time since becoming a Dodger, Lance Lynn threw seven innings and only let up five hits. Though three of these hits resulted in solo shots against the Oakland Athletics, Lynn finished his quality start in 93 pitches picking up seven punchouts along the way.
Lynn impressed more than just the faithful at Chavez, as his new first baseman Freddie Freeman had much to say about the newest addition to the Dodgers’ rotation.
