Dodgers superstar first baseman Freddie Freeman has been named the National League Player of the Month for May. Freeman, who played in all 28 Dodger games this month, slashed .400/.462/.722 with six home runs, 17 doubles (Dodgers franchise record), 26 RBIs and an incredible OPS of 1.184. He could not have been more deserving of the award, so thankfully, the MLB got this one right.
