Friday June 24th was definitely a day that Freddie Freeman and his family had circled on their calendar. Not only was it Freddie’s first trip to Atlanta in a visiting uniform, it was also the day that Freeman received his World Series ring.
Before he even took the field on Friday, the Dodgers first baseman was overcome with emotions. It took two trips to the podium at Truist Park for Freeman to get through his press conference. Once he was there to stay, the tears flowed as he recounted the 15 years he spent with the Braves organization.
