Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman is trying to play through a right ankle sprain that would normally be a four to six-week injured list stint, per Mike DiGiovanna of The Los Angeles Times.
Freeman noted the ankle sprain is the worst injury he’s attempted to play through, but the All-Star did say the swell has gone down a considerable amount.
“A lot of treatment. A lot of time in the training room. The swelling has come down a lot so I feel good, good enough. Overall, I felt much better than I have in the last couple of days.
